Update on My NMN Body Transformation Project

I completed the 3 months of taking Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) at 1 gram/day at the end of October. I’m quite pleased with the results, but I wish I had done it at a time when I could have used the gym and weight training to to make the progress better visually – that is, to pack on more visible muscle. I did hold my weight at a new normal of around 162 lb, during the three months and clearly looked better in the mirror, but I was hoping that I could get some great photos to splash on these pages.

That never happened because I only got in about 6 workouts in the three months. I am three weeks into my rehab sessions for the right shoulder strain, and that is showing healing progress. I can do outward rotations with a light load and I have hardly any discomfort sleeping. Part of that is that I bought a My Pillow and am getting much better neck and head support lying on my side, which takes a load off my shoulders.

The most stunning change I saw during the program was a nearly complete remodeling of the skin on the back of my hands, particularly my left hand. I had two very red patches, each about a half-inch across, with course, rough, flakey skin that would feather up if scratched. They virtually disappeared and were replaced by smooth, supple skin. The color of the brown age spots lightened considerably and my hands look less wrinkled and younger. I swear I look less wrinkled in my face.

My energy level is consistently higher and I seldom think about taking a nap. I find that my conversations are more animated and I just feel more involved in all activities. There is more bounce in my step and in my mental acuity – I’m finding life more interesting.

I will be continuing the use of NMN, but at about half the daily dose I used in the study; I’ll be using the 125 mg sublingual tablets 4x/day and see if the benefit holds up or regresses.

The science behind the use of NMN to enhance longevity and youthful function is very solid in my mind. The sublingual approach to administering effective levels of NMN to observably elevate NAD+ cellular levels is proven for me, and I think this is one supplement that everyone beyond middle age should be using. I hope the price can be brought down far enough to foster normal distribution pricing, so I can benefit from sales to my business clients.
