I used to work for a large bookstore in the customer order’s department. My role was to search for hard to find books and then order them. Most would arrive within 14 days but sometimes it could take a few months, especially if it was rare. You had to be organized, efficient and have good relationships with a network of publishers. Around Christmas it was hectic but you could streamline the procedures so that you had time to read through customer order’s (books).
Two books from that period stand out. This article is about one of them.
I can’t remember when the book came through but it caught my eye. I guess anything that promises life long youth would. Briefly it was about five exercises. Their origin, Tibet, found by an aging British Army officer in the 1920s. The actual book covers all the details.
What’s my experience with the exercises after doing them for 6 years? I’m in my mid thirties and I have gray hair. I used to have more gray hair. I also suffered from fatigue. I’d go for a run and it would take me a week to build up my energy levels again. Now I play squash in the winter and I recover quickly after each game. I also go body boarding in the summer and again I bounce back rapidly the next day, thanks too the exercises.
I did stop them for a period of time and had a fairly serious shoulder accident. After two months my injury wouldn’t ease up so I tried some acupuncture treatments. These helped, but it wasn’t till I combined my exercises with the treatments, that the injury fully recovered. That was a lesson to me.
For me though the best part of the exercises is that it takes ten minutes to do them. How fantastic is that, constant health and vitality for ten minutes of exercise. I could take longer and reap more benefits, who knows I might one day but for now that’s where I am at.
A tip before I finish, it took me three months to get to 21 repetitions for each exercise. If you’re really out of shape, sick or quite old it could take you longer. So follow the book and be persistent and patient with your body.
If this book sounds like you, you can click Life Long Health For Ten Minutes Exercise and it will take you through to Amazon Books. I’m pretty sure they offer the cheapest price or just visit the Customer Orders section in your local bookstore, you never know they might have a copy on the shelf. Feel free to visit iferret for other interesting articles. Good luck.
