"Knowledge Is Great But Unless You Have A Plan Of Action It Means Little"

My Best Advice for the Beginning Lifter

There's a little-known secre't to those just starting out especially when it comes to building muscle and burning fat.

The "freebie seekers" say this method is nothing more then a scam and it doesn't work... but they are DEAD WRONG.

In fact, if you can remember when you first started learning it was from mentors or teachers. Rarely did we just figure it out. The people that do figure it out (maybe the DV'D player or the computer) without reading the manual will have to admit they did a lot of trial and erro'r before they got it!

Had a person read the manual, they would have saved hours of trial and error.

Sometimes that is the best way to learn. I'm guessing that most of you don't believe it is very fun to spend 6 months trying one diet only to have nothing happen. Desperately, you try another training program that doesn't provide results either.

It's two years later and you have yet to see results. You are on the verge of quitting.

Would you spend two years trying to learn a DV'D player?

The method trap you have fallen into is none other than the "lowly" ebook.

Let me explain:

There's nothing more annoying then starting out your fitness quest and working hardcor'e for two weeks, maybe more and not seeing the results you want. You feel as though you have failed. Many people join gyms in January, only to quit in February and the ones who hang on, might make it until March.

My best advice to any beginner is amazingly simple...

Education!

That's right. Education. Arm yourself with the powerful tools of education.

Read as much as possible on the various topics. This will help you to gain a general understanding of how each component of a bodybuilding program affect you.

One thing that so many beginners complain about is that there's so much information out there, what information is correct? The answer is that there is not just one right choice for information, but many different choices that can help you to reach your goals.

----- Want the manual to nutrition, training and supplementation that will let you skip the two years or more trying to figure things out by trial and erro'r? Do you want to cut down on reading a million forum posts and trying to figure out what's going to work and what's not? If so, go her'e right away!

The best advice I can give to anybody who is starting this journey includes...

1. Understand the basics of nutrition.

2. Understand that there are many training programs out there and there's no golden program that will work for everybody, every time.

3. Experiment with training until you find something you like, that works with your routine.

4. Understand that progress and changing your body takes time. At least 3 solid months of a good diet and exercise program must be completed before you will will begin to have noticeable changes.

5. Shortcuts are possible, but they come with risks. Taking pills to get lean while watching T.V. is not the answer.

Benefit from my experience and advice...

When I started out at 16, I first tried supplements. I studied bodybuilding books and followed the routines of pros. I knew nothing about nutrition other then fruits and vegetables were good and fat was bad. I had no idea what my goal was, I just wanted to be bigger.

What did I do wrong? Why did it take me 16 years to get where I am today?

I didn't have anybody giving me good beginning advice.

Nobody told me that the best advice is to learn about three things in this game.

Nutrition Training Supplements - Once you understand the very basics of nutrition, you'll be able to pick out foods that help you reach your goals.

- Once you understand there's many training programs out there and by doing many of them and incorporating variety into your routine, you will do much better then somebody who just picks a program and that's it for years.

- Once you understand the role of supplements, you'll be able to use them to your advantage rather then just buying products and getting frustrated because they don't work for you.

The best advice I can give any beginner today is to take the time to learn about fitness. Read a few books, have a few good websites handy (like how to do an exercise properly) and you'll be so far ahead of the game.
