I'm going to show you how to jump higher with great tips that really do work. There are certain training methods you can use to really increase the amount you jump. I've been able to add upwards of 8 inches to my jump, so it's fully possible. Basketball is the sport of choice when it comes to jumping. Being able to dunk, block and get rebounds makes you a huge asset to any team. Improving your jumping can be an important part of making better teams and maybe making it to the NBA. I'm going to show you what you're going to need to do to jump higher.

There are a few specific exercises that you can do to increase your jump. The main two are squats and running. They don't get the focus and attention they deserve, but they're important. Squats create the power that you need to jump. It makes the jumping muscles stronger. Running keeps them springy and quick. With both combined, you can push off the ground with an explosive force. It's really amazing.

My last tip is going to be the best one for you. It's easy and something you can do at home, but it is going to be a lot harder than you think. Just walk around on the tips of your toes for 30 minutes. It seems like an easy task but after a few minutes you'll be feeling it. If you can last that long, try walking around backwards. This will make it even more tough. It's a hard exercise, but it works.
