Advertisements for anti-aging skin care creams are everywhere, but the question is do they really work?

I believe the topical creams work just as well - if not better than - those pricey medical procedures such as Botox and Collagen injections. As with trying anything new, you can't expect results instantly.

You should try something that works to reduce lines and wrinkles over time (don't expect to look years younger almost immediately), brightens and evens out your skin tone as well as protect your skin from future signs of aging and improves your skin's firmness and elasticity.

Most of all, you should select a product that has a SPF to help protect skin against the sun. The cream should go on smooth and silky and should continue to feel that way throughout the day. It shouldn't feel greasy. The ideal cream should allow you to wear it alone or with a foundation of your choice.

You'll know if you selected the right product if it keeps showing better results day after day. The more you use a product the more your skin should look youthful. You may notice better results if you take a few pictures of yourself every few days for comparison, you may even ask a close friend or family member if they have noticed any difference, they'll offer encouragement and you'll feel better!

When compared to the cost of Botox injections or other elective surgeries, anti-aging cream is a great option to younger and more youthful looking skin. Everyone's skin has different needs and what works for one person may not work for another. Experimentation is key, try different kinds to come up with a plan that fits your needs.

Once you find the cream that works best for you, you'll feel fantastic just knowing that you're taking very good care of your skin! Samantha Jackson has been researching wrinkle cream products for years. She's recently written an article on anti wrinkle face cream that's full of tips and advice to keep your skin looking its best.
