Finding the first set of golf clubs once you have decided to take up the game is usually the first thing that a new golfer wants to do. Good start…but what about the golf bag?

Golf bags are an essential part of the equipment that you will need to begin as well. Professionals will be looking to upgrade, while the novice, and those booking golf holidays will definitely want something that will be both functional and stylish.

Outside of the golf clubs, golf bags are one of the most important pieces of equipment to own. Reducing concerns on the course, the golf bag will ensure that the clubs are properly placed and make it easier to decide the proper or best club to use for a certain hole or shot. Your main focus will be on the teeing and not of how to locate a particular golf club if you maintain a good golf bag for use on the court.

Basically there are two types of golf bags, those that you carry and those that are used in a cart. If you are aware that you will be doing mostly a lot of walking during your game while cart bags is the ones that you will need when walking is impossible or inconvient for any other reason. Functional in nature, the golf bag is also a good way to handle and have on hand all of the equipment that you will need throughout your game. It also holds golf balls, mitts, and even your cold drink and other accessories.

Many of those who are just starting out in the game of golf opt to get the walking bag. This is a good choice for a beginner as the most appropriate of courses will not require the use of a cart for complexity of the course. Even though the bag is used mainly for functionality it is not advisable to buy a low cost or grade of bag. You will definitely experience some problems if you do. Low quality bags will not last and will most likely tear up sooner than one that is built with quality materials. Buying a good quality golf bag will end up saving you money, time, and embarrassment on the course in the long run.

In short, a good quality golf bag will not only add to your golfing equipment but will serve as a organizer, carrier, and trusted companion on the course if chosen wisely. Once you've chosen your golf bag you may like to consider a golf holiday at either Avisford Park or Belton Woods
