people find that this herb relieves throat soreness, but researchers also noted that it improved other symptoms, including

A new method of application for andrographis is as a medication for periodontal disease and gingivitis. This condition is

andrographolides. (Don’t worry, chemists are still arguing over how to pronounce that correctly.)

Wow, imagine if a prescription drug could do all that. The U.S Army would be walking around in biohazards suits in order to
instill enough fear to instigate a massive pill-popping binge. Thankfully, Big Pharma has failed miserably at designing a
synthetic counterfeit of andrographis. In its natural state, the wonder herb is always superior. Use it and say no to
prescription drugs.
Making it Work for You
To make andrograhis work for you it must be taken in the right dose. One gram per 25 lbs, split in three doses, should be
consumed daily when cold symptoms arise or to prevent contagious infection. For instance, if you weigh 150lbs then six grams
daily is suitable – two grams three times per day. In health food stores, andrographis is sold as a whole herb or as a 4-6%
standardized extract of one of its active ingredients, andrographolide. Anyone of these product variations is suitable.
Anything greater than a 6% extract should not be used, as it may be missing other naturally occurring ingredients that are
vital for effectiveness.
