Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is a system developed for the person interested in learning how to lose weight, lower their body fat percentage, change their physical appearance and develop a plan for a healthier lifestyle.

The book consists of 300 pages and 17 chapters that cover a variety of topics including setting goals, taking body measurements, explaining everything you need to know about proteins, carbs and fats, specific exercises, supplements and cardiovascular training. The program also includes some nice bonuses: how to measure your body fat at home (including body fat percentage charts), foods that burn fat and foods that turn to fat, and Tom’s best fat loss recipes.

One of the best features of this book is the attention to diet and nutrition. Tom breaks down in great detail the principles of proper nutrition that will supercharge your metabolism and make it a fat burning machine. His work describes exactly what types of food you should eat and when to eat them to reduce your body fat percentage.

When I first heard of Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle I expected it to be the same overdone “hype” that I have seen before. When I finally purchased the program and started reading through it I was amazed and relieved. This was an honest and thorough program that emphasizes the truth about diet and exercise and one that lays out a detailed plan that anyone can follow.

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is a program that can and will benefit anyone that is motivated and willing to put the time in to experience the benefits this program has to offer. If you are looking for a quick solution to weight loss then this program is not for you. This program provides an education and ultimately a system for you to follow if you want to attain a healthier lifestyle, lower your body fat and improve your physical appearance.

On the downside – this book contains a lot of material. There is probably more material than the average person needs to implement the program. In some places the writing is more “technical” than it probably needs to be. However for the person truly dedicated to changing his lifestyle this shouldn’t matter. Those that are willing and motivated for change can decipher through the “excess” and carve out the meat and potatoes of the system and put it to use.

Some may consider the length of the document a negative, some a plus. I will caution that you do need to familiarize yourself with the entire work. It will take time to read through the book start to finish but that doesn’t mean you can’t begin implementing the system before you finish the book. The more you learn the more effective your results will be.

Another aspect that I really like about this program is that it teaches that everyone is different and what works for one person may not work for another. There are no “cookie cutter” formulas that apply to each individual. The system will teach you how to analyze your own body type and how to monitor the effects that changes to your diet may have. You will learn how to manipulate your nutrient intake and adjust it accordingly so you are burning maximal fat all day long!

If you have purchased ebooks before you may or may not balk at the $37 price tag. I considered the length of the document, the content, the practical value of the information and of course the bonuses that are included and for the money it is a great value. One of my favorite bonuses is the recipes that are included. These are easy to prepare, the macronutrients are broken down for you and the food is really good! Try the turkey meatloaf – it’s amazing!

Changing your physique is not easy. Building lean muscle through the proper combination of eating right, weighttraining and cardiovascular exercise is a complex process. Discover how you can simplify the path to a lean, muscular body with the proper guidance in Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle.
