A spoken language is a human natural language in which the words are uttered through the mouth. Most human languages are spoken languages. Sign languages have the same natural origin as spoken languages, and the same grammatical complexities, but use the hands, arms, and face rather than parts of the mouth as their place of articulation. name="See_also" id="See_also">
